Mandatory equipment

Participants and instructors of the professional courses are obliged to use personal fall protection equipment, not mountaineering equipment. The only exception would present EN 12482 certified helmets, older ascenders certified to EN 567, pulleys certified to EN 12278 and, in specific cases connectors (snap hooks) certified to EN 12275, too.

Mandatory equipment:
– harness (EN 361, EN 358 a EN 813)
– helmet (EN 397 with fastening chinstrap or EN 12492)
– two ascenders (EN 12481 B, may be and EN 567)
– descender (EN 341 and/or EN 12841 C)
– two cow tail lanyards (EN 354)
– one cow tail lanyard for hand ascender (EN 354)
– guided type fall arrester (EN 353-2, and/or EN 12841 A)
– min 5 connector O-shaped (EN 362) [2x cow tail lanyard, 1x hand ascender, 1x descender, 1x persona pulley]
– 1x HMS connector (EN 12275, EN 362)
– rope (EN 1891)
– knife
– safety shoes
– five-toed gloves
– protective suit
